History in Action is all about bringing people together, and our traders are a huge part of what makes the show such an exciting and memorable experience. From specialist dealers and collectors to independent businesses and enthusiasts, we welcome traders of all kinds.

Plenty of Space for Traders

We have a great range of outdoor and indoor pitches available, giving you the flexibility to create a trading space that works for your business.

Outdoor Trading Pitches

Our standard outdoor pitches measure 6m frontage x 8m deep (approximately 20ft x 26ft), giving you plenty of room for stock, displays, vehicles and larger items.

Whether you’re bringing a table full of treasures or something considerably bigger, there’s space for you at History in Action.

Pitch prices vary depending on when you book. Our online booking system will automatically show you the correct price when you make your booking.

Indoor Trading

Prefer to trade indoors? We also have a range of indoor pitches available, starting from 2m frontage and going up to 6m.

Availability and pricing can be viewed when you book online or by downloading our trader application form.

What’s Included?

Every trader pitch includes:

• 2 adult admission passes

• 2 vehicle passes

Additional admission and vehicle passes can be purchased when booking if you need them.

Booking Is Easy

Bookings can be made from 1st October and We’ve kept the process as straightforward as possible. You can choose whichever option works best for you:

Book online – Complete your trader details online, choose your pitch and pay securely by card. You can also book advertising in the show programme at the same time.

Download the trader application form – Prefer to do things the traditional way? Download the form, complete it and return it to us. Payment can be made by card or cheque.

Meet us at a show – We’re out and about at shows across the country, so you may also be able to catch up with the History in Action team in person.

Returning Traders

If you’ve traded with us before, we want to make sure you have the opportunity to come back to your favourite pitch.

Book early to secure your previous pitch. Once the deadline has passed, unbooked pitches will be released and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Selling Food or Alcohol?

If you’re a catering trader or selling food or alcohol, please contact our catering team before booking so we can discuss your requirements and make sure we have everything covered.
