Are you a media student, radio station volunteer, or simply a self-taught editor, camera operator or presenter looking for some real-world experience? We’re have exciting work experience opportunities for aspiring media professionals in radio and television.

As part of our team, you’ll get hands-on exposure to the fast-paced world of broadcasting. You will work on a variety of tasks, from recording interviews and reporting on live events, to editing, production and studio operations, and possibly even presenting live shows. You will be expected to work independently at times, but with the guidance and encouragement of our friendly, experienced broadcast professionals.

This is your chance to gain real industry experience, develop valuable skills, and not just see how radio and TV shows come together from concept to air, but be part of it. It will also be a significant asset on your CV’s if you are looking to progress in the media industry.

Who are we looking for?
If you have had some experience in either the radio or television world, even just as a student or self-taught, then you will probably be a good fit. You don’t need to be perfect, or a professional, but it would be particularly beneficial if you have the basics of editing either audio or video, or have used a professional video camera or audio recording equipment. If you can interview people, have a good understanding for what would make interesting content, or think you could present programmes with an entertaining but informative style (think more Radio 2, and less student radio!), then we’d love to hear from you.
